TAKE THE TOUR

Elk Ridge Ranch offers exclusive private tours in the beautiful mountain setting of Placitas, NM.  Tours last from 70 to 90 minutes depending on the size of the group and must be scheduled in advance.  The tour includes a history and overview of the ranch and the insights into the daily operations of raising domesticated elk.  Guests will have the opportunity to experience unique one on one interactions with the elk herd. Bring your camera and get your photo with some of the largest herd mammals in the United States.

 

Tours are scheduled either early morning or early evening.  Parking is available.  There are no public restrooms.  The tour area around the animals is a relatively flat dirt surface and is accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.  At the discretion of the owners, tours may be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions not favorable to either the tour guests or the animals.
